Job Summary:

Austin Heart would like to recruit a NP or PA to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas at our Austin location.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certified ACNP or PA
  • Working with one interventional cardiologist
  • Cardiology experience preferred
  • Call: 12 weekends a year
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
  • Primarily outpatient clinic with some hospital rounding
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Licensed in the state of Texas
  • The APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologist
  • The candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills
