Locums NP/PA Cardiothoracic Surgery - Indiana Coverage Need

  • Assignment Dates: TBD
  • Schedule: OR only, 1st assist, Call for OR only (no office)
  • Call Details: Callback if needed
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day: 10 outpatient; 5-8 inpatient
Position Details Provider Type: NP/PA Practice Setting: Inpatient, OR Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Required Duties: - Assist in Surgery - Write Prescriptions - Rounding - Order Tests - Pre-Op Physical Exams - Suture Removal - Vein Harvesting Experience: Preference for experienced NP with CTS knowledge and skills (including office, bedside, and OR) Surgical Duties: Vein/artery harvesting using the Maquet system and 1st Assist duties Care: Includes chest tube removal, pacing wire removal, cardiac rehab, wound care (suture and staple removal, debridement, etc.) Submissions Requirements Local candidates (within driving distance, no flights, etc.) - Highly Preferred IN License Required NCCPA Certification (PA Only) AANP Certification (NP Only) Experience in Maquet Vein Harvesting Required Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine Required Conversion Rate Cap: 25k Skill Requirements First Assist Skills Required (for NP) Experience in Maquet Vein Harvesting
