Locums Advanced Practice Cardiology - Springfield, MO Dates: ASAP to Ongoing Rate: Negotiable (tell us your rate) Schedule Negotiable (tell us your preferred schedule) Position Details

  • Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
  • Practice Settings: Inpatient, Outpatient
  • Schedule: - Clinic: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM - Hospital: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Patient Volume: - Clinic: 19 patients per shift - Inpatient: Varies
  • Call Details: - In-house and beeper call (4 - 5 patient calls on weekdays/month & 1 weekend/month) - Call response time: 30 minutes
  • Units Covered: Cardiac Floors (4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 3E-ICU; 144 total beds)
  • Telehealth available for inclement weather days
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Not responsible for performing any cardiac testing on both the inpatient and outpatient sides. These tests are available for ordering. Outpatient:
  • 19 patients/day in clinic
  • Nuclear Stress testing, Echo stress testing, Treadmill stress testing
  • Post Procedure follow ups (Heart Failure, AMI, EP hospital discharge follow ups)
Submissions Requirements Active MO license or IMLC Board Certified ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS Clean history with no pending malpractice claims Skill Requirements Advanced Practice Provider experience in Cardiology Patient floor call, inpatient hospital work, rounds, consults, and clinic coverage Additional Information Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30 - 45 days Support Staff: 20 RNs, 18 MAs, and 10 PAs/NPs Trauma Level: 1
