Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Surgery in NH Located in Peterborough, New Hampshire Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC experienced Physician Assistant to join Orthopedic Surgery team at hospital. - This is an opportunity to work at a critical access hospital in Southern New Hampshire as part of a well-established, highly respected multi-specialty organization. - You will be working alongside board certified Orthopedic Surgeons and Physician Assistants with exceptional Orthopedic training and expertise. - The position requires certification/licensure in the State of New Hampshire as a Physician Assistant. - Expected duties include evaluation and management/treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions to include extremity trauma and sports injuries; evaluation and management of osteoarthritis as well as inflammatory arthritides; ordering and evaluating laboratory and radiographic studies; caring for orthopedic patients in the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative arena. - Orthopedic first call duties with Surgeon backup to be shared with other Orthopedic mid-level practitioners. - First assist duties in the operating room working closely with an Orthopedic Surgeon.
