Midwife Opportunity in Rockland County, NY (Permanent)
Join a dynamic, patient-centered team providing comprehensive care to women in Rockland and Sullivan Counties. As a Certified Midwife, youll have the unique opportunity to support low-intervention, normal births while working in a supportive environment.
Position Highlights:
Provide full-scope midwifery care, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and well-woman gynecology exams.
Conduct physical exams, prescribe medications (including contraception), and order laboratory tests.
Deliver prenatal, gynecological, labor, and birth care while offering health education and preconception counseling.
Hospital Collaboration: Work in a community hospital with a Level II nursery and 24-hour in-house OB and anesthesia backup.
Team-Oriented Environment: Collaborate with a well-trained midwifery team, supportive office staff, and community doulas.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum two years of certified midwifery experience (including deliveries) in inpatient and outpatient care.
Education: Masters degree from an accredited midwifery education program.
Licensure & Certification:
Current AMCB certification.
Active, unrestricted NYS Midwife License.
NY DEA Registration.
Skills: Strong patient education and labor support capabilities.
Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
