**NP/PA Orthopedic Opening in Brattleboro, Vermont**
Located 60 miles from Springfield, MA and 80 miles from Manchester, NH
**Position Details:**
- Full-time, permanent position
- The Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) assists the orthopedic surgeons in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions
- The PA or NP will practice under a supervising physician with responsibilities to include conducting patient evaluations, formulating treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, assisting in surgeries, providing patient education, and managing post-operative care
- They may also perform procedures like joint injections, aspirations, reductions and wound care

**Qualifications:**
- Excellent communication and clinical skills are essential for this role
- Certification/degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

- Eligible for licensure as a PA-C or NP by the State of Vermont
- Eligible for certification as an PA or NP by a nationally recognized organization, which is recognized by the Vermont State Board of Medical Practice
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- DEA license
