**PA - Ortho Surgery opening - Coos Bay, OR**
Located in Coastal Oregon
**Position Details**
- Full-time, permanent
- Comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services in addition to a great atmosphere with many growth opportunities.
- Day Shift + On call TBD based on number of providers sharing the call
- Ability to work weekends occasionally

- Call: shared equitably
- Surgical Assist, ED consults, floor rounding, pre and post op, patient education
- Order tests, review labs, prescribe medications, progress and discharge notes
- Custom orientation adapted to your skills
- In collaboration with the attending physician, prepares and records patient history, develops and implements a plan of care
- Participates in daily rounds on assigned patients and documents the pertinent symptoms, findings, diagnoses and care plans.
- Utilizes electronic medical record for order entry and documentation.
- Participates in multidisciplinary rounding
- Responds to coding and documentation queries and participates as requested in quality and safety initiatives.

- 160K
