PA - Ortho Surgery opening - Coos Bay, OR Located in Coastal Oregon Position Details

  • Full-time, permanent

  • Call: shared equitably
  • Surgical Assist, ED consults, floor rounding, pre and post op, patient education
  • Order tests, review labs, prescribe medications, progress and discharge notes
  • Custom orientation adapted to your skills
  • In collaboration with the attending physician, prepares and records patient history, develops and implements a plan of care
  • Participates in daily rounds on assigned patients and documents the pertinent symptoms, findings, diagnoses and care plans.
  • Utilizes electronic medical record for order entry and documentation.
  • Participates in multidisciplinary rounding
  • Responds to coding and documentation queries and participates as requested in quality and safety initiatives.

The hospitals inpatient and outpatient services include medical, surgical, pediatric, critical care, home health, outpatient and acute inpatient psychiatric, oncology, obstetrical, and other specialties.
