Join a mission-driven university health team as a Gynecology Nurse Practitioner Clinical Educator in Stony Brook, NY. This locum tenens role pays $85/hour and offers the opportunity to lead clinical training and education in gynecologic care — no obstetrics involved.

About the Role:
You’ll serve as the go-to clinical expert, training and mentoring providers in pelvic exams, STI screenings, Pap smears, contraception counseling, and reproductive health services. You'll help shape consistent, high-quality care by leading hands-on instruction, conducting competency assessments, and standardizing evidence-based practices across the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate and mentor clinical staff in gynecological procedures.
• Provide oversight and feedback to ensure best practices and patient-centered care.
• Collaborate on quality improvement and provider resource development.
• Support inclusive, culturally competent, and affirming care for diverse student populations.

Required Qualifications:

• MSN or DNP from an accredited institution
• Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC)
• Strong clinical and procedural experience in gynecology
• Background in education, supervision, and mentorship
• Proficiency in EHR systems and telemedicine
• CPR/BLS certification; DEA license (if required for practice)

Preferred:

• Experience in university or outpatient gynecology settings
• Familiarity with LGBTQ+ inclusive care and PrEP prescribing
• Experience with quality initiatives and clinical policy development
• ACLS certification
