The WHNP-Clinical Coordinator position is based at the Boriken Neighborhood Health Center, a state-of-the-art Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and NCQA-accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home in East Harlem offering comprehensive pediatric and adult primary care, specialty care, and the Boriken Pharmacy. Provides telephone coverage, based on the Health Center’s on-call schedule.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities: Provides comprehensive Women’s Health Services in an ambulatory care setting. Contributes to quality assurance, staff development, and other programmatic and clinical functions. Helps to coordinate provider scheduling and ensures adequate supplies for clinical services.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Current New York State Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife license. DEA Certification. BLS Certification. Infection Control Certification. Graduate of approved nurse midwife or nurse practitioner school. Board certification preferred. Three to five years’ clinical experience required. Bilingual Spanish preferred. COVID vaccine required. Must have Active NYS Medicaid/Medicare Provider #.

Working Hours

Schedule: Full time (35 hours per week, 7 hours per day with an unpaid lunch)
