GA license Required; DEA; DATES & Schedule (call): Mon – Friday 8a-5pm The ideal candidate will be someone with Urology experience in the ambulatory clinic. Clinic based Type of patients: Inpatient rounding, clinic call patients, ED/ACC consults Average patients seen #s– the applicant can ask those questions during the interviews if selected Typical Urology NP Clinic expectations Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with urological conditions, including taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and reviewing diagnostic test results (e.g., urine tests, imaging studies). Diagnosing and Treating Conditions: Diagnose common urological issues such as urinary tract infections (UTIs), kidney stones, incontinence, enlarged prostate (BPH), erectile dysfunction, and other urinary disorders. develop and implement treatment plans, which may include prescribing medications or therapies. Procedures: Perform minor in-office procedures such as catheter placements, bladder scans, post-void residual (PVR) tests, and, in some cases, cystoscopy or urodynamic testing under supervision, depending on the state’s scope of practice laws
