Banner University Medical Center in partnership with the University of Arizona College of Medicine is seeking a Stroke Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Comprehensive Level IV Stroke Center in Phoenix, AZ. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care in the field of stroke management.
Position Details:
Requirements:
- Licensed RN and APRN in Arizona
- Board certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC)
- Earned doctoral degree (DNP; PhD preferred)
- Post-graduate fellowship education and training in acute stroke management OR willingness to complete post-graduate fellowship education and training on the job within 12 months of hire
- ANVP board certified (ANVP-BC) OR must sit for ANVP board certification and successfully pass it within 12 months of hire
Preferred:
- Experience in an acute stroke nurse practitioner role
- Professional publication track record with publications in high-impact journals
- Independent or semi-independent scientific researcher with a track record of grant funding
