Position Details:
Role: Locum NP/PA – Urgent Care
Location: Harrisonburg, VA
Schedule: Flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and possible evenings
Setting: Urgent Care Clinic
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, minor injuries, and infections.
Perform basic procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and lab work.
Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment plans.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
Active NP or PA licensure in Virginia or the ability to obtain.
Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice preferred.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
BLS/ACLS certification required.
