Job Summary

CommunityCare Express Mt. Pleasant's new urgent care clinic, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. This clinic site qualifies for $75,000 NHSC Loan Repayment Program* in addition to the $10k recruitment incentive for new hires.

Job Duties

The CommunityCare Express Mt. Pleasant clinic is seeking an experienced advanced practitioner for this new clinic opening in November.

The clinic qualifies for the *National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program [Register to View] target="_blank">[Register to View] which is up to $75,000 for a two-year service commitment.

CommunityCare, affiliated with Geisinger, offers Express urgent care clinicians who diagnose and treat common medical problems including sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, urinary tract infections and more. They also provide routine health exams, immunizations, screenings and wellness services. Some clinics may also include X-ray, EKG, IV hydration, and phlebotomy. Advanced Practitioners must be able to treat patients from age one to adults.

Advanced Practitioners receive the following benefits:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Six months of primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care or critical care experience is preferred.

Work Schedule:

Rotations of weekends and some holidays required (Work 7 out of 14 days)​

The ideal ExpressCare candidates will:

Take responsibility and ownership of their site. Possess strong interpersonal skills. Be self-motivated. Have excellent prioritizing and multi-tasking abilities Have urgent care experience and the ability perform procedures such as suturing and splinting.
