Position: Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP)--Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Overview:
Urgent Care in Denver, CO seeks experienced Advanced Practice Providers with a minimum of 2 years in Urgent Care, ER, or Family Practice. Candidates should have a strong bedside manner, enjoy patient interaction, and be able to work independently with a focus on patient care.

Job Responsibilities

- Function autonomously during solo shifts with ability to consult fellow providers and lead physicians as needed

- Provide patient-centric, evidence-based care for both adult and pediatric patients.

- Interpret and respond promptly to EKGs, X-rays, and lab results.

- Perform bedside procedures such as laceration repairs, I&Ds, foreign body removals, and joint injections/aspirations.

- Obtain DOT certification within 3 months.

- Efficiently manage high patient volume.

- Communicate effectively with clinic supervisors, medical assistants, and technicians.

- Work two full weekends per month (required for full-time providers) and some holidays.

- Be available to work at multiple clinic locations.

- Maintain high patient satisfaction and garner positive social media reviews.

Qualifications

- Medical/Master’s degree with certification.

- Current, unrestricted Colorado medical license.

- Unrestricted Colorado DEA license to prescribe controlled substances.

- BLS or ACLS certification.

- Experience in ER, urgent care, or fast-paced primary care.
