Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a civilian Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Urgent Care at the Fairfax Health Center in Fairfax, Virginia to support active duty, qualifying veterans and their dependents. Scheduling
- Urgent Care hours are of 7am to 8pm Monday through Friday & 8am to 2pm on Saturday.
Aspects of the UCC
- 2-3 patients per hour
- Extension of the ED at Ft. Belvoir
- If a patient is presented that exceeds the scope that can be seen in the clinic, patient is transferred to the nearest ED
- BLS only facility-No crash carts
- Will not typically see overflow from our primary clinics
- Support staff (Nursing & MA)
- Stable culture with Senior Physician & Nursing leadership
Job Requirements:
- All active State licenses accepted
- At least 2 years of experience working in Urgent Care / ER
- Active BLS certifications
- Active DEA registration
