GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the direction of the Manager of the Behavioral Health Urgent care, performs supervisory and professional tasks in the staff development, supervision, case consultation and management of the program, including but not limited to the provision of Crisis intervention services, intake/biopsychosocial assessment services, therapeutic support, and solution focused interventions on an occasional, intermittent, emergent basis; performs related work as required. This position is responsible for the planning, coordination, development for all aspects of conducting the management for the Behavioral Health Urgent Care which involves and acts as the liaison amongst behavioral health providers, consumers, and law enforcement.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters in Social Work with the Michigan Masters Level Social Worker (LMSW) credential, Clinical. Willing and able to provide supervision of LLMSWs and LLBSWs as requested by Senior Management AND three (3) year experience working with both adults and children with mental illness, developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring disorders.
- OR Master's Degree in Psychology and Michigan LLP credential. AND one (1) year experience working with both adults and children with mental illness, developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring disorders.
- OR Master’s in Counseling and Michigan LPC credential AND one (1) year experience working with both adults and children with mental illness, developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring disorders.
- OR Bachelor’s in Nursing (preferred) OR graduation from an accredited school of Nursing, and licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Michigan AND three (3) years of experience working with both adults and children with mental illness, developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring disorders.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Employee must maintain valid clinical licensure to retain employment.
Must be willing and able to work weekends, holidays, or irregular hours including on call responsibilities.
Must be willing to provide services in person or via use of telehealth technology in office, community, or in the field.
Must have a valid Michigan driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and the use of a vehicle during work hours.
Must have the ability to physically perform the tasks.
If providing telehealth services, must utilize a work space in which service provision can occur in a confidential manner.
