The facility is hiring Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Positions will be full time in our detox and residential levels of care. We have been in operations in Texas for 8 years, this Virginia location is our newest location.

Job Responsibilities

Provide medical oversight, training and direct patient care.

Manage/Oversight of medical department and staffing

Provide on-call services to 24-hour nursing staff
Working with Physicians and nurses

Attend Treatment Team Staffing, if needed

Maintain & Exceed individual JCAHO compliance, Virginia Dept State Health Services compliance and other regulatory agencies

Contact with family members, crisis interventions, etc

Qualifications

ARNP or PA License is Required

Must be licensed in the state of Virginia

Working Hours

Shifts: Days/Evenings (Monday-Friday) Weekends as needed

Skills

Knowledge of ASAM placement criteria and DSM diagnostic criteria as it relates to chemical dependency

Knowledge of addiction and PTSD in the class

Knowledge of Joint commission and Texas Department state Services Policies
