Telehealth Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Women’s Health Clinic
Visana Health is an innovative virtual women's health clinic offering comprehensive clinical care and holistic support for women. We are redesigning women's healthcare by bringing a patient-centered human touch to care for complex conditions such as chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, heavy menstrual bleeding, and more.
Even if you don’t necessarily check every box outlined in the following requirements, we want people of color, gender non-conforming, those in the LGBTQ+ communities, and all those that consider themselves less represented in healthcare to apply because we understand that diversity in our provider team strengthens our organization and helps provide exceptional care to our patients.
This is a part-time or Full time fully-remote position that conducts visits via telehealth.
The clinical team prioritizes the following:
- A trauma-informed approach to care: we listen more than we speak, we validate our patient's experience, and we believe what they tell us
- Striking a patient-centered balance between evidence-based care, patient preferences and values, and investment in long-term patient outcomes
- A commitment to excellence in our delivery of care, using the best relatable communication strategies, comprehensive documentation in the patient chart, and extensive care coordination to support the patient's on-going care needs.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in women’s health (experience and/or certification) licensed with prescriptive authority/independent practice in good standing and without history of discipline or sanctions
- Minimum of 5+ state licenses (additional licenses preferred)
- Board certification in a related specialty (adult, family, midwife, women’s health, etc.)
- Confident learning new technology and expanding clinical knowledge
- Ability to learn and adapt to a treatment philosophy where we educate and support patients
- Ability to appear on camera via video conferencing tools to see patients
Preferred:
- A commitment to seeing patients 15 hours a week minimum, more time is welcomed
- Additional language capabilities
If you are unsure, please apply anyway! We know how important it is not only to include, but to actively seek out diverse opinions and voices.
