Position Details:

• Patient Population: Adult

• Setting: Inpatient Cardiovascular Surgery (OR & ICU)

• Responsibilities:

  • Four 10-12 hour days per week if assigned to OR

  • Three 12-13 hour shifts per week if assigned to ICU (includes overnights)

  • 1 weekend per month on-call (Friday 6 PM – Monday 6 AM)

  • Surgical call 1-2 nights per week (6 PM – 6 AM)

• Required Procedures: EVH System: Maquet Hemopro2

• EMR System: Not specified

• Support Staff: 7 adult surgeons, 32 APPs

• Days Per Month: Varies

• On-Call/Weekends: Yes, as detailed above

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified - REQUIRED

• Active ME License or Active IMLC - REQUIRED

• COVID and flu vaccine - REQUIRED
