We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for a locum position in Norfolk, Virginia, specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery. This role offers the opportunity to work with a high-performing surgical team in a dynamic environment.

Details:

  • Location: Norfolk, VA
  • Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Start Date: February 12, 2025 – August 31, 2025
  • Schedule:
    • 8-15 shifts per month.
    • Minimum 3 nights/week and 1-2 weekends/month.
    • Night call: Mon-Fri 7p-7a; Weekend call: Sat 7a-Mon 7a.
  • Case Mix: CABG, valves, heart transplants, aortic dissections, lungs, TAVR, and MCS.
  • EMR: Epic

Procedures:

  • Required: OR first assist, endoscopic vein harvest, chest closure, suturing, catheter insertions, chest tube placement, thoracentesis, and more.
  • Preferred: Endoscopic radial harvest.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery operative experience.
  • Active VA license and DEA.
