The University of Kansas Health System - St. Francis is hiring a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner skilled or trained in endoscopic vein harvesting. Join our passionate and growing team dedicated to providing exceptional care to Topeka and its surrounding communities.

About this CT Surgery NP Job Opening:

  • Patient Care Coordination: Manage care for both inpatient and ambulatory patients with acute and chronic conditions.
  • Surgical Assistance: Assist CV surgeons in the OR and clinic.
  • Call Rotation: Participate in a call rotation with surgeons and other APPs.
  • Collaborative Practice: Work both independently and interdependently with physicians.
  • Technology: Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: Cardiac Surgery Experience is required for established NPs, but not required for new grads.
  • Certification: Vein Harvesting certification and/or experience is required for established NP's, but not required for new grads.
  • Credentials: Advanced NP certification.

Certification: Vein Harvesting certification and/or experience is required for established ACNP's, but not required for new grads.
Credentials: First-Assist, ACNP certification.

Call Rotation: Participate in a call rotation with surgeons and other APPs.
Collaborative Practice: Work both independently and interdependently with physicians.

Skills
