Reading Hospital is seeking a Full Time Advanced Practitioner in our Neurosurgery Office, a hospital-owned practice, encompassing Inpatient & Outpatient Care and Trauma on Call Coverage to support extensive growth and community need.
This group has been a highly respected Neurosurgical practice serving Berks County and surrounding areas for nearly six decades. The practice surgical volume consists of spinal, brain and peripheral nerves. The Advanced Practitioner will be responsible for seeing patients in the office and will assist with daily rounds in the hospital and surgical cases as needed. They will also participate in the practice call schedule.
This position includes:
- Ambulatory clinic, Hospital rounding, OR First Assist
- Staple/suture removal, wound checks, shunt adjustments
- 2 days ambulatory clinic, 3 days hospital rounding/OR
- M-F plus rotational weekends and overnight call
- This is a surgical position
