Planet Healthcare is looking for an experienced travel Neurosurgical Nurse Practitioner to work in the Neuromedical ICU in Rochester, NY.

• Acute Care NCCPA certified - will consider pending NYS license
• Minimum of 3 years critical care experience
• Arterial/Main Line Placement experience
• Neurosurgical or Neurology experience is highly preferred
• 3 - 13’s or 7on/7off –13 hour shifts D/N, Weekends, Holidays, On Call, Call back per unit needs

Responsibilities include direct care for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures as well as medical neurology patients.
Direct care responsibilities include admission work-ups, daily management (including complex ventilator management, central lines, arterial lines, and transfer/discharge).
Other responsibilities include student precepting, and support of unit-based nurses

Drug screen and physical must be done at the facility and will reimburse travel cost to facility to complete testing
