AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking an APP (PA or Nurse Practitioner) to join our expanding Neurosurgery service line and collaborative team in our AdventHealth East Division (Palm Coast / Daytona Beach).

With the launch of the Neurosurgery program over 2 decades ago, AdventHealth East FL Division has continued to invest, innovate, and produce high quality outcomes, quickly becoming the area’s leaders in brain and spine care. Our dedicated team has earned numerous accreditations and awards, including TJC Spine Certification, US news world report best spine and stroke hospital, Thrombolytic Capable accreditation, Blue Distinction spine, and American Heart Get with the Guidelines.

We are seeking a neurosurgery APP dedicated to continuing our tradition of excellence in both clinical practice and professionalism, while maintaining AdventHealth’s mission, vision, and values.

The APP will assist in both the OR, and hospital rounding, as well as maintain a clinic schedule.

Qualifications

Licensure, Certification, and Registration Requirements
• Master’s degree in Nursing (APRN) as an FNP or Physician Assistant (PA) studies
• Board Certification
• Active FL medical license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
• DEA License required or ability to obtain

Practice Overview
Our neurosurgery team consists of 5 neurosurgeons, and 6 experienced APPs. The practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group. AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 350+ physicians in 27 individual service lines. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for the physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.

Hospital Overview
AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway is a new, 100 bed hospital, open as of August of 2023. This four-story facility, located on the north end of Flagler County includes an emergency department with full-service imaging; five operating suites; endoscopy services; outpatient laboratory; heart catheterization labs; 20 critical care patient rooms and 80 general medical or surgical care rooms.
AdventHealth Palm Coast is an established CMS 4 Star rated, 99-bed facility located on the southern end of Palm Coast with 7 Operating Suites and 2 catheterization labs, endoscopy; 18 ICU Beds; Specialties include cancer, orthopedic, surgical, cardiac, and gastrointestinal.
AdventHealth Daytona Beach is a 367-bed hospital nestled on the border of Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach, most recently named #1 hospital in Volusia and Flagler counties by U.S. News & World Report. Tertiary services include, open heart, structural heart, vascular, thoracic, brain, spine, bariatric, surgery.
NOTE: None of the hospitals in this division are trauma centers.
