A north-central Wisconsin private surgical practice that has a patient draw from a 13-county region throughout Northcentral Wisconsin and the UP of Michigan is currently looking for a Trauma / Vascular / ACS Nurse Practitioner. The NP will assume a primary provider role in the care of patients in a hospital setting.

The Position:

• Analyzes findings to create assessments, initiate treatment plans, and make referrals; performs diagnostics and prescribes treatments for medical and surgical issues.
• Orders and interprets lab tests, administers treatments, and performs routine procedures, including first aid and wound care, while collaborating with physicians.
• Develops and evaluates treatment plans, monitors patient outcomes, and ensures safety and quality standards in care.
• Provides cross coverage of Surgical First Role within the operating room.
• Completes Hospital rounds with Vascular, Trauma and Acute Care attending physicians daily. Afternoon rounds may be independent, but MD updates are expected.
• Schedule: 7 on / 7 off

Apply if you Have…

• An Active and Unencumbered Nurse Practitioner License in the state of Wisconsin
• A Masters Degree in Science, Nursing
• ACS, Vascular or Trauma Surgery experience (preferred)
• National certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and/or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (preferred)
• Experience with Epic Software (preferred)
