Our client in Allen County, OH is in need of a Trauma Surgery - Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant for a locum assignment!

Job details:

• Start - ASAP
• Starting in December 2024, 3 month contract to start
• Mixture of weekdays and weekends with a preference for open weekend shifts
• Full time APP will be on 12 weeks of medical leave
• Inpatient, daily rounding, new consults & admits
• 6-12
• Epic
• Level 2 adult
• APP will not be working autonomously
• Trauma attending surgeon assigned to each 24 hour shift, typically take call from home, but available within 15 minutes or via phone call.
• Suturing Minor Lacerations, Surgical Consultations, ER Admissions, Facilitating Dicharges, Responding to the ED Trauma Alerts

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA) - Required
• Active OH license & DEA - Required, no exceptions - will NOT accept those willing to obtain
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS Certified - Required
• Training or Experience Required (Must have previous experience in trauma. Will not accept new grads)
