Job Description
Seeking Plastic Surgery Nurse Practitioner to join talented team in north central IA. Assisting busy plastic surgery Physician and team. Consists of OR/First Assist duties and evaluating follow-up patients in clinic. Completes pre-op tasks including physical examinations and recording health history. Orders appropriate laboratory and radiographic tests. Participates in daily rounds, writes progress notes, conducts patient education, writes prescriptions, and prepares discharge summaries.
- Fulltime, Permanent
- Clinic and surgery Monday – Friday,
- No Weekends
- Call approximately 10 days per month
- Team of 2 physicians and 2 Apps
- Background: At least 1-2 years as first assist experience, preferred.
