St. Luke s Health System in the Boise, ID metro area seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Breast Surgery team. The St. Luke s Breast Surgery team offers expertise in the most up to date care of patients with both benign and malignant breast disease. The APP should be very detail-oriented team player and have a compassionate approach to high-quality patient care.

Role Specifics & Qualifications:

  • Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with operating room assistant qualifications highly preferred.
  • Team comprised of 4 breast surgeons, 2 PAs.
  • APP will act as first assist in the operating room while helping to manage the inpatients while on service.
  • Clinic responsibilities include, but not limited to caring for patients with benign breast conditions as well as post-operative patients.
  • Work schedule is primarily weekdays in clinic, OR/hospital with occasional night call for established patients only.
  • Graduation from an accredited school with a minimum of a Master s Degree and certification, as required by the specialty, as well as eligibility to obtain licensure from Idaho to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses.
