Seeking a Physician Assistant with Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery experience for a growing group outside of Norfolk Virginia

Job details:

• Fulltime permanent position ( Schedule will be discussed during the interview)
• The provide will be performing history and physicals, discharges summaries and pre-op consults, Daily rounds and on-call responsibilities
• The provider will also be a first assistant intraoperatively in all cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases. Management of IABP’s, placement of central lines, arterial lines and chest tubes, vent weaning and temporary pacemakers
• The provider must have at least 2 years of Direct Cardiovascular experience and proficient at open and endoscopic radial artery and saphenous vein harvest, sternal closure
• Looking for someone who works well independently and a team player
• VA license must in hand or in process
