Exciting Opportunity: Part-Time Nurse Practitioner for Sleep Center
Healthcare United – near swansea, Massachusetts

Healthcare United is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Sleep Center team, working 1–2 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, well-established practice that prioritizes patient-centered care and state-of-the-art diagnostics. Whether you're experienced in sleep or pulmonary medicine or seeking to expand your skills, this role provides on-the-job training and professional growth.

Opportunity Details

As a Nurse Practitioner at the Sleep Center, you will:

  • Conduct outpatient consultations and follow-up visits for patients with sleep disorders.
  • Evaluate and manage symptoms such as fatigue, snoring, sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs, narcolepsy, and parasomnias.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, including home testing and in-lab studies.
  • Prescribe and manage therapies such as BiPAP and ASV (adaptive servo-ventilation).
  • Work collaboratively with a Sleep Medicine Physician and a Nurse Practitioner in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
  • Participate in the chronic disease care model for adult and adolescent patients.

Schedule:

  • Part-time, 1–2 days per week.
  • No routine weekend or night calls, but occasional phone availability for patients and sleep tech inquiries.

Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License.
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certificate and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration.
  • 1–5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
  • Compassion, maturity, and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Prior experience in sleep or pulmonary medicine is preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
