Telemedicine Specialist Consults: Virtual, Remote, from any location in the United States.

Specialist Telemed (STeM) has an exciting opportunity for a Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner to provide virtual consults to patient’s bedside in hospitals, ED/IP, and outpatient settings. We are seeking practitioners who are committed to making a difference in healthcare by providing telemedicine specialist consultations to healthcare systems and the patients that need them most. Our physician team consists of board-certified and board-eligible specialists in more than twenty-four medical and surgical subspecialities, nationwide. STeM empowers you to provide an excellent standard of care to patients via Telemedicine, allowing you to create a better work/life balance.

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree (NP).
  • Certification by the Accreditation Board of Specialty Nursing.
  • Active medical state licenses in good standing.
  • IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensing Compact) (plus, not required).
  • DEA license(s), if applicable.
  • Experience using technology to deliver patient care, virtually.
  • A willingness to learn new or streamlined EMR tools.
  • Provide excellent bedside manner and communication skills virtual/remotely.
  • Must have a secure work environment, free from external noise.
  • Must have reliable internet connection.
  • Must possess a desktop computer, laptop, cell phone and/or tablet to conduct video visits (can be provided).

Prior Rheumatology NP experience
