Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Radiology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high quality patient care in a dynamic procedural environment, collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments for patients undergoing minimally invasive radiologic procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists in performing procedures such as Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Joint ing / asp, Lumbar punctures, biopsies, gastrointestinal fluoro procedures, etc.
  • Enter pre-operative and post-operative notes and orders.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations
  • Provide patient education regarding procedures, risks, benefits, and post-procedure care
  • Stay current with advancements in radiology and nursing practice through continuous education and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited university required
  • FNP or PA certification required
  • Experience in procedural radiology or related experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
