In a region dubbed “the world’s fruit basket”, the Central Valley is located roughly 30 miles south of Fresno and offers a convenient 90-minute drive to either California’s central coast or the Sierra Nevada Mountains, providing access to year-round adventure.
Position Summary:
If you are looking to truly make an impact in an under-served area, this would be a great opportunity. Spanish bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.
Practitioner will interview patients and construct comprehensive medical histories. Provides appropriate patient education by explaining the diagnosis and treatment plan. Instructs patients about health maintenance and preventive care. Provides continuity of care. Directly performs or orders appropriate diagnostic studies and interprets finished results.
Oversees the maintenance of adequate, concise, legible and up-to-date documentation of patient care. Makes note of problem medical, medication and discharge records, drug allergies, lab orders, subjective and objective data, diagnostic procedures, patient education and treatment.
Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital’s medical staff credentialing standards.
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in state of practice: Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice: Required
- OR Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in state of practice: Required

- Wage Scale: $126,080-- $189,121
- Salary based on experience.
