MID-HUDSON FORENSIC PSYCHIATRIC CENTER (MHFPC) is a secure adult psychiatric center that provides a comprehensive program of evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients admitted by court order.

• FT- ADULT INPATIENT
• SCHEDULE: Shift hours could be five 8-hr shifts or four 10-hour shifts
• 2 hrs. north of Manhattan.
• No travel. ALL INCLUSIVE RATES
• This role is a combination of both clinical psychiatry and forensic evaluations and report writing.

• This is a bid process: Bid due date: 03/19/2025 at 3 PM EST.

REQUIRED:

• NY state license; active, unrestricted
• Board Certified-Psychiatry
• NY Medicaid Enrollment
• Minimum 1-2 years post residency experience. Formal forensic training or prior forensic experience is not required. Forensic responsibilities can be taught during orientation process.

COMPENSATION:

• Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications)
• Malpractice insurance provided.
• Extended leave will not be permitted during this assignment. Shorter leaves (e.g., one week or less) may be considered.
