Compensation: $100/hour

Responsibilities as the Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Locums):
- Clinical Care: Conduct psychiatric evaluations, prescribe medications, and educate clients on treatment plans.
- Medication Management: Adjust medication regimens, including MAT and injectables, while monitoring client health metrics.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, interventions, and progress notes per regulatory standards.
- Collaboration: Coordinate care with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Education and Engagement: Facilitate programs on medication, wellness, and symptom management for clients.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to crises promptly and provide appropriate care and referrals.
- Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent required.
- Licensure: Valid New York State Nurse Practitioner License and Current Registration.
- Certification: CPR (BLS), First Aid, DEA registration, ANCC certification, and NPI number required (must become MAT certified within 3 months of employment).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Nurse Practitioner, with experience in prescribing suboxone.
- Skills: Proficiency in computer systems, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to assess and de-escalate crises effectively.
- Attributes: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Travel: Flexibility to travel to multiple locations within NYC.
- Language: Bilingual candidates preferred.
