Nurse Practitioner – Psychiatry, Inpatient | Full time.

Salary range: $125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year (to be discussed at interview)

Location: Dayton, Ohio.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Position Overview:

  • A 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with five working days required.
  • The work schedule involves travel between Columbus and Washington Court House, with mileage reimbursement at the current IRS rate.
  • Minimal on-call responsibilities are included.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PMHNP in an inpatient mental health environment is required.
  • Candidates moving forward must be willing to travel on-site for an initial interview (travel expenses to be reimbursed)
  • The Heritage of Hannah Neil in Columbus offers residential services for children who have experienced trauma, prioritizing respect, compassion, and dignity.
  • Electronic Medical Records are managed through CareLogic.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PMHNP in an inpatient mental health environment is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to support children in residential care in Columbus and Washington Court House, Ohio.
  • The Ranch of Opportunity in Washington Court House provides a peaceful environment for girls aged 13 to 17 to undergo a 6–8-month trauma-focused residential treatment program.
  • The PMHNP collaborates as a key member of the team, providing psychiatric services to children and adolescents in care.
  • This role works directly under the Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, ensuring high-quality psychiatric support.
  • Teamwork and client care are emphasized in all aspects of the role.
