Job Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Location: Columbus and Washington Court House, Ohio
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide high-quality psychiatric care to children in residential treatment programs. This full-time, in-person position supports two locations in Ohio: Columbus and Washington, offering vital mental health services to children and adolescents who have experienced trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychiatric services to children and adolescents in residential care.
- Collaborate as a key member of a multidisciplinary team under the guidance of a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
- Manage Electronic Medical Records through the CareLogic system.
- Provide trauma-focused care for children in treatment programs, emphasizing respect, compassion, and dignity.
- Maintain a consistent schedule, traveling between Columbus and Washington Court House facilities (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Participate in minimal on-call responsibilities.
- Full-time, 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.
- Travel between the Columbus and Washington Court House facilities is required.
About the Programs:
- Location one: Girls aged 13-17 in a 6-8 month trauma-focused residential treatment program.
- Location two: A trauma-focused residential program for children, prioritizing care in a respectful and compassionate setting.
Qualifications:
- Current Ohio residency and active PMHNP licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient mental health environment.
- Must be able to commute to both facilities
- Must interview in person
- Must be able to work in-person; telemedicine is not an option.
- Not accepting Locum Tenens or visa candidates for this role.
