Locums – Hermitage, Tennessee, NP/PA Psychiatry Opening

  • The need for full-on service coverage will begin on Monday, January 6, 2025, and conclude on Friday, February 28, 2025
  • Need one locum for coverage: Monday through Thursday 6a-12p Facility 1 and Friday 6a-12p Facility 2
  • However, for training purposes, I would like to have the temp provider work with/shadow our current NP for, at least, 24-30 hours in the week or so leading up to the date of 01.06.2025 that they will be expected to extend their service independently (although with the support of the Medical Director and Clinic Director)
  • Description of Work Assignment: Practitioners hours of employment under this Agreement will be full time up to forty hours per week onsite. Practitioner agrees to participate actively in performance improvement, risk reduction activities with regard to developing goals, assessing needs, including, but not limited to, patient safety and professional competence, as needed for ongoing improvement of clinic services
  • Practitioner will:
    • Complete intake histories and physicals and annual physicals
    • Provide support and training to other clinical staff
    • Attend case conferences
    • Consult with clinic staff and patients regarding treatment
    • Complete all documentation in a timely manner as required by a Clinic's rules and regulations, or other policies and procedures
    • Perform such other duties as assigned

  • What drugs will be administered onsite: Methadone, Suboxone & Subutex
  • Patient Load: 7/day
  • New and existing Patients
  • Age of patients: 18+
  • Case Load: 7/day
  • BLS Required
  • Is there additional support staff: Medical Director, Clinic Director, Dispensing Nurses, Counselors
  • Is the provider working solo or with other providers: Solo – most days with collaboration and support of Medical Director
