Responsibilities:

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management of clients
• Prescribing or recommending medication or other forms of treatment or related therapeutic procedures
• Complete structured clinical interviews with all new patients
• Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to identify and assess clients' clinical problems and health care needs
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric care, including medication, medication review, and therapy

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of PMHNP experience is required
• PMHNP certification is required
• Active NYS nurse practitioner license
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

Compensation:

• Pay rate is $90 per hour depending on experience
