Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential need for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP).

Location: Buckley Space Force Base, CO
Position Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to provide comprehensive psychiatric care. This role involves conducting psychological evaluations, establishing diagnoses, and providing therapeutic treatment to individuals, couples, and groups. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree in nursing from a CCNE or ACEN-accredited program.
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years of post-licensure psychiatric practice, preferably in a government setting (DoD or VA).
    • Experience in behavioral interventions, crisis management, public speaking, and case management.
    • Clinical peer reviews completed within the last 2 years.
  • Licensure:
    • Active, unrestricted PMHNP-BC license in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Certification:
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Skills:
    • Independent practice capability without state-mandated supervision.
    • Proficient communication with diverse populations, including military personnel and families.
    • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Core Duties:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations using clinical interviews and collateral sources.
  • Establish psychiatric diagnoses per DSM criteria.
  • Provide psychotherapy and treatment for individuals and groups.
  • Assist in patient rehabilitation and coordinate care.
  • Develop and present briefings and training to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with Army, DHA, and Combatant Command policies for deployment assessments.
