Locum NP/PA Psych need in Pittsfield, MA
MUST be Board Certified - Psych Exp Needed - MA License - BLS - Covid Vaccine Required
Credentialing timeframe: 6 weeks
Dates of Coverage: 10/1/23 - 7/31/2024
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30-5 - NO CALL - NO WEEKENDS
Practice setting: outpatient community mental health
Average number of patients per day: 1 hour for psychiatric evaluations, 20-30 minutes for follow-ups
EMR: Ehana
APP will be working autonomously - M.D. will also provide supervision and support as needed
Experience in psychiatry is required.
Experience in community mental health is preferred but not required.
Adult patients primarily, it is preferred but not required that the provider have experience with children/adolescents.
Additional Info: Perform psychiatry evaluations in an outpatient setting and determine diagnoses, prescribe appropriate medication, create and follow treatment plans, and perform ongoing treatment in the community. Work with a multidisciplinary team to provide mental health services to residents in Berkshire County MA. Work closely with a community CBHC team. Work with a team of medical assistants, RN's and other support staff.
