Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider

About this role:
As a Psychiatry Advance Practice Provider, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.
- You will provide outpatient psychiatry care at Utah Valley Psychiatric Clinic
- Geriatric experience is preferred
- You can work 2.5 days per week or two 10-hour days (Thursday and Friday each week)
- You will help out with occasional inpatient weekend call
- A 501c3 company

What you’ll bring:
NP requirements:
PMHNP-BC required.
MSN or DNP with Post graduate certificate in psychiatry and mental health if specialty other than psychiatry
PA in Psychiatry requirements.
The PA must obtain and maintain a Certification of Added Qualification (CAQ) in psychiatry from the NCCPA
Have a doctorate level education – DMSC for PAs
Have a post-graduate certificate in psychiatry and mental health
Complete post-graduate residency (clinical hours) in psychiatry
Complete 10,000 hours of clinical practice in mental health
Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
BLS certification and DEA
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis
