We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to fill an opening in Chicago, IL. Will provide immediate crisis support and care for psychological distress

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess patients in the ER and conduct mental health evaluations to determine if they should be transferred to the crisis center.
  • Provide immediate support and care for psychological distress.
  • Address and treat acute mental health issues, offering urgent psychological care as necessary.
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.

JOB DETAILS:

  • W2 + medical/dental/vision PTO, 401K benefits for full-time providers
  • 3 shifts available 7a-3p, 3p-11p, or 11p-7a 12- hour shifts preferred
  • 24x7 Full-time or Part-time
  • Credentialing Estimate: 2-3 months

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active/Unrestricted IL License
  • BLS/ACLS Certification
  • Active/unrestricted DEA
