OPEN POSITION:
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)


SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- 40 Hours Per Week
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Weekends


OFFICE HOURS:
- Open 7 Days per Week
- 8:00am to 5:00pm Daily
- Closed Holidays


COMPENSATION:
- $150,000 Annual Base Salary

COMPANY PROFILE:
This multi-site, multi-specialty private practice has been serving patients in Yuma and the surrounding communities since 2011. They currently operate 8 offices with a staff of 10+ physicians, 12+ nurse practitioners/physician assistants, and many support team members, serving patients with full-scope primary care and more than 10 specialty and subspecialty areas. They have an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, x-ray, MRI, walk-in centers, and more. They are currently hiring due to growth.



POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new PMHNP will work independently, while also being part of the larger treatment team.

Patients are seen in a comfortable outpatient setting for conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.

The average number of patients per day varies by site. The volume is kept at an appropriate level to ensure proper patient care and the practice is happy to collaborate with the PMHNP to determine visit lengths and daily volume.

Providers work with dedicated clinical assistants who room and prep patients, as well as assist during the visits if needed.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

- psychiatric evaluation and management
- diagnosis and treatment of patients
- consultations
- evaluation and management of memory problems
- treatment of depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders

The offices have extensive resources available in-house to ensure hospital-level care in an outpatient setting.

The practice utilizes a proprietary EHR.


REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona NP license
- DEA
- PMHNP certification
