We are seeking a dedicated and board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join an inpatient psychiatric team. This role offers a structured schedule with a manageable call burden, focusing on providing high-quality care in an inpatient setting.

Job Responsibilities

Manage and support psychiatric patients during scheduled shifts.
Work within a 24-bed inpatient department.
Provide care with a patient load of approximately 12 per shift.
Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and management.
Participate in call coverage, with phone-only responsibilities on some nights.

Qualifications

Board Certification in Psychiatry.
Active WA License or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license.
Experience in inpatient psychiatric care preferred.

Working Hours

Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 7 on/7 off rotation (Tuesday - Monday)

Skills

Psychiatric Assessment and Diagnosis: Ability to perform thorough psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop treatment plans.

Medication Management: Experience in prescribing and managing psychiatric medications, including monitoring for side effects and adjusting treatment as needed.

Crisis Intervention: Skills in handling psychiatric emergencies and providing immediate care in high-stress situations.

Patient Care: Proficiency in delivering compassionate and effective care to patients with a range of psychiatric conditions.
