Our client in Rensselaer County, NY is in need of a Permanent Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner.

Job Details:

• Seeking experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) Certification (PMHNP-BC™)

• This hospital offers a comprehensive program in behavioral health that includes inpatient services across three units and a robust outpatient program located on the hospital campus. An interdisciplinary team provides specialized care to meet the medical, psychiatric, and social needs of the patient.
• This opportunity is available for immediate placement and will join a team of Counselors, Therapists, Psychiatrists, Case Managers, and Nurse Practitioners in providing compassionate care to our patients. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the outpatient Psychiatry team.
• Shifts are either M-F 8-hr days or 4-10s. Providers work 1 weekend per month covering inpatient with a physician with post call days off.

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified PMHNP - Required
• NY State License (or willing to obtain)
• 1 year of NP Psych employment experience - Required

• Competitive salary range: $126,647 and $136,779. (The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.)
