Aspire Medical Staffing is looking for a temporary Nurse Practitioner to provide services at the Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.

Location: Naval Hospital Jacksonville, FL in the Substance Abuse and Rehabilitation Program (SARP), a division of the Mental Health Department

Schedule: Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0700 and 1800 hours

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat patients with common acute conditions, chronic illnesses, or minor trauma within accepted protocols, clinical practice guidelines, Nurse Practice Acts, and/or in consultation with a physician.
Recognize conditions that require isolation and ensure universal precautions are used in all patient encounters.

Qualifications

Certification: Possess and maintain a Controlled substances registration certificate from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in accordance with (IAW) the laws of the state in which the HCW is licensed.
Certified: in the specialty required by the TO as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate (for example, National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, American Nurses Association, National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Specialties).
Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.
Degree: Master's degree in nursing.
Education: Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Experience: 2 years of experience as a nurse practitioner
