Carson Tahoe Health is seeking a full-time and experienced Psychiatry nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its Behavioral Health team in Carson City, Nevada. Candidates must have at least two years of experience working directly in psychiatry/mental health. The Behavioral Health department provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient mental health services to adults and aging adults using a multidisciplinary approach. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a bit of autonomy as you will have the option to work independently as well as to build up your own patient panel. Where You’ll Work

Carson Tahoe Behavioral Health Services (BHS) provides comprehensive inpatient & outpatient mental health services and boasts the first and only licensed Crisis Stabilization Unit in Nevada. The BHS inpatient department is a 52-bed unit with 8 geriatric psychiatry beds, 22 adult psychiatry beds and 22 chemical dependency beds. The Behavioral Health team includes Psychiatrists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, chemical dependency counselors and psychiatric nurses to provide holistic and supportive treatment and care.
