Daily Responsibilities for a PICU Nurse Practitioner
The PNP is responsible for a practice that demonstrates a high level of autonomy, clinical decision-making, and advanced skill in managing and treating complex illnesses in the critical care environment.
The PNP provides leadership and clinical support for the interdisciplinary team in the PICU/CCU/SCU,
Engages in research and quality management activities and participates in multidisciplinary educational activities.
Procedures expected to perform in the hospital setting: Endo tracheal Intubation, Arterial and Central Venous Line Placement, Chest tube placement, Bedside Procedural Sedation, Spinal Taps.
Requirements for Nurse Practitioner
- Master's Degree
- PA Registered Nurse License
- PA Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner License
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Leadership Skills
Hours For This Position
- Full Time -varied shifts
