There's a new Pediatric NP opportunity in Des Moines, WA. Starting ASAP Full-Time. Please let me know if you are interested! Details below:
Specialty: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months, possibility to extend
Shift Details: 8a-5p, 40hrs/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch. Optional Saturday hours.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Work Details:
· Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to.
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FT. 40hrs/week.
· Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 18 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced.
· Patient Population/Age: Pediatric.
· Department Description: Community Health Center. Providers should have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus.
· EMR: EPIC
· Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Well-child visits. OP ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care services, chronic disease management.
· Skills Required: Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3.
Practice Setting:
• Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health Center
Travel Logistics:
· Specific travel client will pay for: Flight, rental car or mileage and lodging.
Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License Required: Active WA license required. Will not consider non-licensed candidates
· DEA: Active WA DEA required
· Certifications Required: Will be discussed at time of credentialing. If any certs are required, provider will be responsible for obtaining. (BLS, ACLS, etc.)
· Minimum Experience Required: MUST have clean background. No malpractice will be considered. MUST have minimum of 2 years experience.
Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 weeks
Must be covid and flu vaccinated
